The Mission of Holy Cross Services is to bring hope, promote change, and help people live free, healthy, and productive lives.
PHILOSOPHY OF TREATMENT
Holy Cross strives to meet the social, emotional, basic care and educational needs of vulnerable children. We also provide services to their families through partnerships with other community organizations.
Holy Cross provides a network of services for children and their families through a trauma-informed environment of care. We believe in treating the whole person in a welcoming, safe and secure environment. We provide individualized services, when, how and where they are needed.
We help our children and families learn to be adaptive, resilient, and to manage risk and protective factors to be successful in the community. Our treatment approach promotes a process of change to assist our children and families in improving their own health and wellbeing, to live self-directed lives, and achieve their full potential. Holy Cross offers quality treatment, and we offer the most important ingredient – HOPE!
HOW WE SERVE
Holy Cross has been providing education, assessment, foster care, independent living, and residential services since 1948. All locations serve children and their families through simultaneous treatment models compatible with trauma-informed care and cognitive behavior therapy. Our staff utilizes Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Trauma-informed CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Motivational Interviewing and the Interpersonal Change Model in the group, individual, and family therapy.
