Who does Homeless No More Help?
Your involvement helps people like Craig, a Gulf War veteran who suffered from severe anxiety and depression due to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Despite seeking therapy, he still felt trapped and alone. He turned to substance abuse and soon found his family and home life unraveling around him. Before he knew it, he was homeless. Craig said he was lost and needed to find a real answer to stop the downward spiral. Then he found Holy Cross. Through residential treatment and strong prayer, Craig feels whole again and has reconnected with his family.
You will also be helping the many families, women, and children who we see at New Hope Community Center. The number experiencing homelessness has risen dramatically in recent years and the pandemic has made the situation much worse — roughly half of the state’s total homeless population are now women and children.

I am so happy to be chairing the host committee again this year. As many of you know the 2021 event had to be held virtually, but we are planning to be back in person in 2022!
Every year the event is a celebration of all the hard work and generosity of the community, a community who continues to embrace the event, making it a true success which helps thousands.
