Abuse happens every day behind the closed doors of the people you don’t expect. In fact, not all abuse is visible. Physical, emotional and substance abuse is still a huge problem in America, something that needs to be addressed more often. The problem with abuse is even when the victim gets away from the person who is abusing them, the psychological effects of the abuse can last a lifetime.
